The iconic Blur rug features the use of sequenced geometric shapes and repetition, a signature of the Bouroullec brothers.

When the rug is seen at a distance, the pattern takes on a different surface giving the name to the collection. At a closer view of the rug, the lines and geometric shapes are revealed, giving it a different appearance.

The blurred appearance is done through a laborious technique traditional to the way kilims are traditionally woven. The change in weaving creates an aged rug with the impression of the blurred lines by mixing two colours unevenly.
